It’s one thing to be taken seriously as an artist/singer, and to go viral for how funny your dance/MV is. So I wouldn’t dare to compare the two. They are on 2 different paths and had 2 different mindsets and goals to begin with, and both are respectable in their own way.

honestly i am very mad to jype, like seriously they are very slow in everything/promoting their artist (someone said that wg concert ticket sales in sg is very bad, they said bcoz of lack of promotion) =.=

I doubt Wonder Girls are crying in the corner. So there is no need for you be so stressed out. The WGs have shown a lot of respect for PSY, so let them be your guide. Some times lightning strikes.
In any case, it raises awareness for all the performers from S.Korea including our beloved Wonder Girls.

The thing is with PSY’s Gangnam Style, it is popular now..but it will pass quickly. The Wonder Girls are on a different path, they want to make a permanent mark on the American music industry and not just as a one-time phase. I wouldn’t care so much about comments like this. Our girls will surely find their own fame soon. Let’s just all be patient^^

just to tell you, Psy is seen as a viral phenomenon, not taken seriously as an artist that you would geniunely listen to. Its like Rebecca Black-Friday but the positive version. Wonder Girls should not feel ashamed and im 110% sure that they aren’t. Afterall, Psy is a fellow korean artist who have the same aspirations. And my pov, i want Wonder Girls to seen as artists by other ppl not as a joke.

Sure, we’ve been waiting for a really long time for the American album, but don’t act like we didn’t get TWO Korean comebacks in the past year. Promoting in America is different, it’s harder. They have been perfecting their album for a very long time. If you want to talk about ”waiting” for an Album, look at The Veronica’s fandom, we haven’t had a new album since Hook Me Up in 2006, they’re finally releasing new music now, and their new album should be out next year, that’s about 6 years of no new album or music.With only a bit of touring in between. Wonder Girls will get there. It takes a lot to make it in America.
Plus, like everyone’s saying, PSY and Wonder Girls are different. PSY is viral, and it won’t last long..

Actually,the ticket for sg concert is sold out. The organizer posted it on their facebook page last two days…don’t worry… The girl’s power is still alive and strong! Just keep the faith and pray for their best..

Everyone is trying to make something out of nothing, since PSY is very popular right now in the States, since his video went viral..and Wonder Girls have been asked to do the dance. Although, no one realizes that, when a dance gets popular here in the States, when celebrities do interviews, they are usually asked to do the dance, or sing the song, or something. It’s just what happens. Nothing’s going on between Psy and Wonder Girls..

jype are doing their best, i appreciate that. They can’t just put out every time, the girls are working hard, and their polishing the English album, especially since the expectations are high. The radio and media interviews are good too.

With Miss A, it’s known that companies would always endorse 1 member to the media from groups to get their name out there, it just so happens to be Suzy. Jia, Fei, and Min get most lines in their songs anyway.

@sheila daroya : I see your point since he did kinda forget 2AM, Jia Fei Min and Joo but he could’ve done better on our girls’ M/Vs. Our girls’ M/V ain’t as good as the others like 2PM 2AM or Miss A
Example : Touch, Can’t let you go even if I die, and Hands up !~ Those were epic !~But our girsl’ M/V isn’t that good !~ Though the songs are awsome !!!~

Sheila: Sorry, But ”Too” and ”Very” have the same connotative meaning. He’s not managing them ”Messy” either. And, if I remember correctly, 2AM isn’t under JYP directly anymore, they’re under a sub-label of JYP. With Miss A and Suzy, that’s how a lot of idol groups and companies do it. Look at After School, they mainly promote Uee, and now it’s more Nana.
YooBin~T.O.P: You do realize that a lot their most recent MV’s they’ve helped plan right? And JYP didn’t plan Be My Baby MV, either. And Like This was freaking awesome. 2DT was funny. Like Money was REALLY good, despite everyones complaints about the make up, they were trying to make them look like cyborgs, and Nobody(jap) MV was really good too. I don’t know what you’re talking about for WG’s MV’s sucking recently. They’re awesome.
I have one more thing to say to everyone about the America thing, It’s a SLOW process. Do you think Lady Gaga just overnight was a hit? Beiber? One Direction? Katy Perry? Taylor Swift? NO. They worked hard for YEARS. Lady Gaga was singing Demos for other artists. Katy Perry was a Christian singer with little success. Taylor was a small town girl in Nashville who worked hard to get her dream. Justin worked hard to get his dream. One Direction went on a singing contest, got grouped together, and then, didn’t get instant fame, in fact their company got them famous through Youtube, after about 2 years of being a group. It’s a Slow process that’s different for everyone. I know people look and see American Idol, and think, you can get instant fame here..you can’t. The American Idol winners have to work hard, both on the show, before they audition, and after the show.
So yeah…hopefully I made sense…the last part about America wasn’t directed at anybody in particular…

Oh, and Sheila: Martin wasn’t calling you the troll, he was calling the people who say that about Wonder Girls and Psy trolls.

@Linda based upon this article, I’d say One Direction was indeed an overnight sensation. I would say that getting exposure on X-Factor and being signed by world famous Simon Cowell were very helpful.

Joo happens to be under the JYP label.
JLim is under sublabel Big Hit, but I’m not sure if she hasn’t left JYPE. There’s not been much news for her, which is sad since I like her quite a bit.
