I will be going on a mission trip from July 12-22 to Athens, Greece to give support, encouragement and love to refugees of countries like Pakistan, Arabia, and Syria. We will be prayerfully serving these refugees, who are in a very vulnerable state considering the conditions in which they are living, from where they had to flee, and what their reasons for fleeing were. We will be meeting their needs and comforting them through acts of love and kindness, and our hope is that these people feel this love and come to know Christ. I trust that God will use this opportunity to fill me with compassion and unconditional love for the peoples of this world and use every fiber of my being to proclaim the awesome news of the gospel.
I am looking to build a prayer support team that will pray for me and my teammates during our trip; pray that we don’t lose hope and doubt our reasons for going on this trip; pray for composure when we engage in conversations with these refugees; pray that we be able to humbly serve these peoples in every way; and most importantly that God would fully use each and every one of us during our stay in Athens. Would you please consider committing to pray for us? In addition to your prayers, there is another way you can have a role in the Great Commission. Before I leave on July 12, I need to raise $1200 to cover the cost of my trip. This amount includes food, housing, and travel expenses for the 10 days I will be spending in Athens.
I fervently believe God has control over all things and that he has called me to this trip for a reason, and I know He is faithful. Hey y’all. Sorry for being away for so long. I’ve been occupied with various things, such as final exams, internships, jobs, and transferring into civil engineering.
It’s going to be a long road.
What are your plans for the summer?
